Which damaged his vocal cords ! For years Donald was unable talk. The doctors told him just be content with being able to talk. No hope of ever singing again. Forget about singing. Donald Braswell’s drive, passion was to beat all the odd’s and sing again. Donald Braswell sings “You Lift Me Up” credited to Josh Grobin. Donald Braswell brings down the house. “It is God’s job to know when the end is, and He will surely let us know when that time comes. Until then, we are not serving him or others if we give up. Keep going, no matter what the odds” Donald Braswell What is very interesting is that the live audience started yelling and booing Donald Braswell off the stage, and then he remarkably turned them around with his talent. I assume there’s huge “boo” and “applause” lights somewhere where the crowd can see them and react accordingly, so it’s probably just the director doing his thing.

That was unbelievable how the crowd booed him so viciously when he just started singing. The only answer here is that AGT set this all up.Told the crowd to do what they did before he even came out to sing…Total set up….What the heck is real anymore? What a joke.

A Real Gracious Man with such courage and such wonderful voice…never lost his composure facing such rediculously adverse condition…Bravo Donald – THAT’S THE SPIRIT!!! and I am thankful for the sudden ‘Awakening’ of the crowd, so to speak … come to think of it … quite lovely crowd, too!

The crowd is absolutely nuts. This guy has a really good voice-I dont think the crowd knows what the hell they are doing half the time. It’s ridiculous.

America’s Got Talent has the worst crowdes ever. I love his voice and I really think he has talent. He did have a tragic story. Everything overall is perfect.

This truly is the most incredible entertainer I’ve ever seen…and I’m old. I’ve been privileged to see him perform live. He packs the emotion into his songs that grips you. Beyond singing he is hilarious and can really cut a rug. This guy is a dynamo with it all and was robbed by AGT and its judges. Those wanting to see him perform should join his fan club and watch his website for his concerts. He is singing at Carnegie Hall December 2nd, 2010!
I watched the original performance on AGT and have watched it over and over again after that. It always brings chills and tears to my eyes. What a voice! What a talent! What a man! What an inspiration!!!
