@chrixchua well they aren’t that good in my opinion. But I agree that they should’ve at least beaten Kevin Skinner. Maybe not Barbara Padilla though.

Imagine any other five married women, collectively the mothers of 17 children, putting together an act like that, whether sisters or not. Absolutely amazing. The only question is who is more proud of them, their husbands, their children, or their parents?

If you are talking about American Idol remember Simon has made this very clear that it is not just about singing. It’s about who can be the next Pop star, who can sell and who would be the most valuable to record companies. Remember when he got heat for telling those overweight twins who could sing really well that they couldn’t get in because of their weight? So the goal is to get that balance. Someone who looks good and can sing good like Carie Underwood.

They really are a terrific act. When the Texas Tenors beat them out, my jaw hit the floor, I was so shocked!
I love it how they mention their husbands as the unsung heroes. It’s so sweet.
