Re: DIversity: They were already well-known in their field. Their final routine was a short version of one they had done the year before in what seemed to be a national championship. (Check videos here.) Other acts that were also well-known in a narrow field, but got great exposure on BGT: Kate & Gin, Crazee Horse, Ben & Becky, Iona, etc. Add the unappreciated pros–Julian Smith, James Stone, Irresistible, Escala. BGT is not just about amateurs coming out of nowhere.

No, Diversity was mesmerizing each time. Their last performance just so happened to be their best, and I do believe it was the best performance of the night.
